Data Mesh Learning is a global community of 7000+ end users on their data mesh journey. People at all stages of data mesh are part of the community – those who are brand new to the concept to those who are a few years into their data mesh implementation journey.
There’s no right or wrong way to participate – this community exists for you to find and share data mesh resources, ask questions to help each other out, and generally to advance the conversation around data mesh.
All community members must abide by our Code of Conduct and Expected Behaviors in every space to preserve the community’s integrity and inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
You can connect with others in three main ways:
Slack. The primary meeting place for the DML community is Slack – sign up here! There are channels for specific topics, verticals, and more. Learn more here. Please join and don’t be shy! We’re here to help each other out.
Biweekly Meetups. We host live events on a biweekly basis to learn from other end users who are implementing data mesh. The presenters are available to answer questions. Sign up to stay informed of future meetups on our Global Meetup page and/or by receiving the Newsletter.
NEW! End User Roundtables. This is a new program introduced in February 2023 based on feedback from the community. We host private sessions for up to 10 people (end users only – no vendors or consultants allowed) to connect and talk openly about whatever data mesh topics they’d like to discuss. They occur the first week of each month. Fill in this form with your details to express your interest: https://forms.gle/BhXRNSUwihxHthL88
Share Your Case Study. We’re always on the lookout to showcase data mesh end user journeys – whether it’s a live or pre-recorded video, or a written case study. If you’d like to share your story or found a great case study online, let us know via this form: https://forms.gle/LWsJAUR434q97dgc8
Throughout 2023, we’ll be adding new programs and resources for the community. If you have ideas of how we can help, share your thoughts via #staff-questions on the DML Slack.
